This peer-reviewed article in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology presents a series of six case studies about people allergic to PEG. It does a terrific job of showing the process we’ve all gone through with a ‘hidden’ allergy: Seemingly inconsistent random reactions to medications or products, then finding the common thread is a glycol. This would be a good study to show your medical practitioners if they still don’t understand.
